An Inter-Class Spell Bee Competition was organized by the English Literary Society of the Department of English to enthuse students to develop the habit of learning new words in English and to know their correct usage and pronunciation. In the Preliminary round conducted on 21st November 2022, 22 teams comprising three members in each team participated enthusiastically, out of which four teams qualified for the final round. Final Spell-Bee Competition was held on 24th November and Team D from B. A. 5th Semester of Anjali, Taranpreet Kaur and Sukhwinder Kaur won the first position. Second position was secured by students from 10+1 Non- Medical of Taranpreet Kaur, Anmoldeep Kaur and Geetanjali.

Motive : To encourage students to update and enrich their Vocabulary in English and improve their pronunciation and understanding of the English words.

Outcome: The participants' ability to spell the words correctly was assessed in a fun learning way.This event motivated students to build their word power and improve their overall comprehension of English words, their usage and correct pronunciation.
