Explain the importance of Quit India Movement during the Freedom Movement of India.
A rally was organized in the context of Quit India Movement under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Archana Garg on behalf of History Department of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala , In which the students were informed about the Quit India Movement launched by Mahatma Gandhi in 1945.
Students came to know that The Quit India Movement was a movement started by Mahatma Gandhi on 8 August 1942 during World War II asking for an end to British rule in India. The movement was started in a speech in Bombay where Mahatma Gandhi asked Indians to Do or Die.
Outcome-Slogans on Quit India were displayed and students learned about detail history of this movement
