Motive - Maintaining IT hardware entails taking care of parts including the keyboard, CD drives, hard drive, batteries, wires, fans and other peripherals.
Report - Mr. Rajesh Gupta from Gupta Enterprises, Kapurthala was the Keynote Speaker. Students were provided with a platform to upgrade their hardware skills. Expert elaborated various hardware components practically such as, Motherboard which holds and allows communication between many electronic components of a system, DDR1 and DDR2 RAM that are the class of integrated circuits used in computer, graphics card which generates a feed of output images to display device. The speaker also highlighted the significant role of LAN card to communicate with network, CMOS battery that maintains computer settings and RJ 45 connector that connects LAN cable.
Outcome - The students have acquired knowledge about the construction of computer hardware, basic networking, workplace safety, and fundamental electronics. Additionally, they have gained skills in debugging both hardware and software issues.
