ICSSR Sponsored National Seminar on 'Green and Sustainable Entrepreneurship in Commerce' was organised by P. G. Department of Commerce and Management in which Dr. Ashwani Bhalla, Deputy Director, Higher Education, Government of Punjab and Dr. B. B. Singla, Associate Professor, School of Management Studies, Punjabi University, Patiala chaired the Technical Session-I as its Keynote Speakers. Mr.Tushar Jain, C.E.O, Basant Auto Tech, LLP graced the Inaugural Session as the Chief Guest. In this session, participants presented their papers on the sub- theme, 'Sustainability in Marketing Practices and Research'. Dr. Vikasdeep, Faculty, University School of Business Studies, Punjabi University, Gurukashi Campus, Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda chaired the Technical Session -II in which sub themes related to 'Sustainable Finance and Investment' were elaborated. Mr. Atul Sud, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer, Mrs. Bector Food Specialities Limited graced as the Chief Guest of the Valedictory Session which was chaired by Dr. Khushdeep Dharni, Professor, Department of Business Management, Punjabi Agriculture University, Ludhiana. In the two technical sessions, 32 paper presenters from the diverse fields participated via online and offline modes.

Outcome: The Seminar provided a platform for fruitful discussions, knowledge exchange and intellectual collaborations. The seminar brought together scholars, researchers, industry professionals and entrepreneurs to discuss and analyze innovative approaches to integrating environmental sustainability into Commerce. Through various sessions, presentations, participants delved into topics such as eco-friendly business models, sustainable supply chains, green marketing strategies, policy frameworks for sustainable commerce and the role of technology in promoting green entrepreneurship.
