Report: To enhance the linguistic competence and communication skills of the faculty. The faculty of the school and college were provided with a platform to upgrade their communicative, speaking, writing and public speaking skills. They learnt how to frame situational conversations; how to present self-appraisal-cum-self introduction effectively; how to draft letters, resume and also learnt the correct usage and practical application of tenses, homonyms, and homographs and homophones. The inhibitions and doubts of the faculty regarding pronunciation and usage of sentences in English were also addressed and cleared.

Report: To make faculty ICT enabled. An online workshop has been organized for the faculty members of Hindu Kanya College & Hindu Kanya Collegiate School, Kapurthala. The resource person Er. Sunali Sharma explained how to generate certificates using mail merge in MS-Word. She also demonstrates how to generate e-certificates and send these certificates to participants using email. The key note Speaker Er. Tanya Goel demonstrates the execution of formulas using various built-in functions in MS-Excel.

She also explained the steps to convert it as video, pdf , PowerPoint show etc. The speaker Ms. Hardeep Kaur demonstrated how to download a YouTube video, create own video and how to edit these videos using Kine Master App. She also taught how to make video of PowerPoint presentation.

Report: On the 1st Day of the series of lectures arranged by Staff Academy under faculty development programme (FDP), Dr. Ritu Gupta, Head from the Department of English enlightened faculty members about different techniques to rectify common errors in the usage of English and also suggested useful tips to make speaking and writing in English more effective and impressive.
Topic: Effective use of Punjabi language in improving communication skills
Resource Person: Mrs. Jasdeep Kaur, Assistant Professor from P.G.Department of Punjabi.
Report: In continuation on 2nd day Mrs. Jasdeep Kaur, emphasized on the precise and puposeful usage of Punjabi syntax and vocabulary. She also elaborated the significant parameters related to phonetics to improve the pronunciation of Punjabi vocabulary.

Report: On the 3rd Day of Faculty Development Programme Er.Sunali Sharma, Head of the P.G. Department of Computer Science and IT enlightened faculty about the precautions to be taken to safeguard oneself from the Cyber Crime. She also suggested how to apply various safety settings on Mobile apps and Social sites to be secure while using internet.

She also quoted examples of various corporate houses who are discharging their social responsibities towards different stakeholders commendably.

Report: In this ceaseless chain of varied erudite lectures on the 5th day Assistant Professor from the Department of Cosmetology suggested feasible tips for maintaining healthy and glowing skin to the faculty members attending the FDP. While explaining different skin types she also recommended them various dermatologically proven handy home remedies to get healthy skin.

Report: On day 8, Mrs.Ramandeep Kaur, Assistant Professor from the P.G. Department of Commerce and Management discussed latest Income Tax Amendments in Budget- 2021. She focused her discussion on two options for salaried individuals from this financial year to pay tax as per the old tax regime and new tax regime of seven income tax slabs. She made her discourse effective and easily comprehensible for the faculty by illustrating suitable examples. She also highlighted the pros & cons of new tax regime.

She also suggested various yoga asanas for relieving stress and boosting physical agility and mental health.

Report: On the 13th day of Faculty Development Program Mrs. Sarika Kanda, Head of the Department of Home Science arranged a special workshop-cum-discourse to demonstrate the quick and healthy Recipes. Principal Dr. Archna Garg concluded the session with her remarks and admired the endeavours incorporated by the Staff Academy while arranging the FDP for the teachers. She also advised all teachers to keep themselves updated about different areas essential for their holistic development.

Report: On 14th Day, Mrs. Paramjit Kaur, Head of the Department of Music emphasized on the importance of “GurmatSangeet”in modern life. She discussed various forms of Indian music and highlighted the importance of GurmatSangeet in 10 Guru's Bani. She also pointed out the basic differences between Classical and Gurmat Sangeet.

Report: To improve English of the Non Teaching staff an online workshop has been organized for the non teaching members of Hindu Kanya College & Hindu Kanya Collegiate School, Kapurthala. The resource person Dr. Ritu Gupta explained the basics of communication skills. She taught the ways to upgrade four communication skills in English:-reading, writing, speaking and listening. They also came to know about the different practical ways to rectify the common errors in English and to write correct English.
