A special assembly to celebrate Basant Panchami was organized at the College. This auspicious day was commemorated to mark the birth of Maa Saraswati, the deity of knowledge and the arrival of spring season. Principal Dr. Archna Garg and all teachers paid the floral tributes to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. Students from the Music department presented devotional songs to invoke Maa Saraswati and mark Basant festival. Dr. Ritu Gupta, Coordinator, IQAC highlighted the importance of the day.

Purpose: To celebrate the arrival of the spring season and to seek blessings of the Goddess Saraswati, the deity of knowledge.

Outcome: Students were made aware about that the significance of celebrating the Basant Panchami which signifies rejuvenation of new life in nature with the arrival of spring and inspires us to keep smiling like blossoms and stay positive in life. The ambience of the college was filled with the spirit of devotion and jubilation. Such celebrations make all students and staff attached with their rich Indian cultural roots and traditions.
