Celebration of "National Constitution Day"

Motive : to spread awareness on the importance of the Indian Constitution and to acknowledge the contributions of its architect, Dr B R Ambedkar.

Report : Constitution Day also known as 'Samvidhan Divas', is celebrated in our country on 26th November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26th November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, though it came into effect only on 26th January 1950. Hence, the day on which the Constitution was adopted, that is 26th January,
Outcome-The Constitution of India is important as it lays down the supreme law of the country. It covers the fundamental rights and duties of citizens and sets out the political code of conduct, structure, powers, and duties of all government institutions.
