International Mother Language Day was celebrated by the Bhasha Manch of the college under the patronage of Bhasha Vibhag,Punjab to the Punjabi language.

Motive : To apprise students about the importance of their mother tongue and to encourage them to use it in their daily communication.

Outcome : Famous Punjabi journalist and author Roshan Khaira encouraged students to develop due respect for their mother tongue and use Punjabi in their daily working. Students realised that the regional language like Punjabi is the finest medium to communicate one's true feelings and imaginative flights. The knowledge of one's mother tongue paves way to the holistic development of a learner and attaches him or her to the traditional and cultural roots. Students were encouraged to feel proud of the rich asset of their mother tongue.
