Cleaniness Drive

On October 19th 2021, A cleanliness campaign was conducted in Shalimar Bagh by NSS Department of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala under the chairmanship of Deepmala Thakur, District Youth Officer, Nehru Yuva Kendra and Principal Dr. Archna Garg. Volunteers of Nehru Yuva Kendra Kapurthala and college NSS volunteers participated in this activity, who cleaned Shalimar Bagh. During this, NSS volunteers collected 11 bags of plastic waste in Shalimar Bagh and informed the surrounding people about the importance of cleanliness. Further they explained that keeping cleanliness will keep diseases away.

Motive: The main objective of running this campaign was to make NSS Volunteers aware of the importance of cleanliness.

Outcome: As a result of this activity, on the one hand, the NSS volunteers got to know about the importance of cleanliness, on the other hand, the people of the society also got a message that cleanliness is the basis of a healthy life.
