NSS Units organized a Cyber Awareness Program on 18th September 2024 at Hindu Kanya College Kapurthala, which aimed at educating students about the importance of cyber security in today’s digital age. Er. Sunali Sharma, Head of the Department of Computer Science and IT delivered an insightful and engaging talk and shared vital information on how individuals can protect themselves from online threats such as hacking, phishing and identity theft. She explained various practical steps that people can take to safeguard their personal information and data, especially on social media platforms and during online transactions.The talk covered topics like cyber hygiene, best practices for password management and understanding the risks associated with online financial activities. College Principal Dr. Archna Garg appreciated the efforts of NSS Programme Officer, Mrs. Suvit Das and her Unit for enthusing students to stay vigilant and responsible in the cyber world.
