"Three Arts Club of the Department of Music staged an Enthralling Performance by Kathak Guru Malti Shyam of Lukhnow Gharana in collaboration with Spic Macay". Kathak Guru Malti Shyam explained that Kathak is an elegant dance form of Northern India and revolves around the concept of story telling related to Indian ancient and mythological culture. SDM Jai Inder Singh, the Chief Guest encouraged the students to save our heritage and enthused them to learn such beautiful Indian dance forms. Dr. Ekta Dhawan, Principal, Bawa Lalwani School was the Guest of Honour.
Outcome: Students were motivated to appreciate Indian dance form, Kathak and they were enthused to excel both in academic and co-curricular arenas and preserve the rich culture and heritage of India.
