*An Educational Talk on 'Career Prospects' organized at Hindu Kanya College*

Career Counselling and Placement Cell of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala organized an educational talk on career prospects for the Commerce students on 30th January 2025. This activity aimed at enlightening students about learning skills to enhance their career prospects. The session was chaired by Mr. Kanwaljit Singh, an esteemed speaker, who shared valuable insights on the importance of skill development along with academic curriculum. The key takeaway from this session was learning skills such as communication skills, technical skills, and confidence to boost career growth. The speaker used real-life examples, case studies and interactive discussions to keep the audience engaged. The session successfully enhanced knowledge and awareness on BFSI: A future skills prespective making it a valuable learning experience. The session was followed by a question answer session in which students actively participated by asking insightful questions. Principal Dr. Archna Garg appreciated the efforts of Dr. Neetu Bhargava, the Convener of the organizing Cell and her team for organising an informative session for the students which would surely benefit them for their academic and career growth. The students and faculty members from the P.G. Department of Commerce attended this session.
