The P.G. Department of Commerce and Management celebrated World Entrepreneurs' Day on August 21, 2025 by organizing an Entrepreneurial Development Program (EDP) with the theme "How to Become an Entrepreneur?" The program featured an expert session chaired by the Resource Person, Mr. Nagesh Kumar, who held over 15 years of experience in Indian Stock Market operations, SEBI law and financial market compliances. Mr. Nagesh shared insights on incorporation planning, qualities required to become a successful entrepreneur and financial assistance and schemes for establishing new business. 15 student participants presented their business ideas and plans in which Jasleen and Navjot clenched the 1st Prize. Muskaan Begam got the 2nd prize, and Prabhleen received the 3rd prize.The event helped students gain confidence in presenting business ideas, understand financial planning and explore entrepreneurship as a career option. Dr. Neetu Bhargava, Head, P.G. Department of Commerce presented her gratitude to the Resource Person for conducting a highly informative session. College Principal Dr. Archna Garg appreciated the Department of Commerce for organizing the event and encouraged students to nurture innovative ideas and contribute to nation-building through entrepreneurship. On this occasion, Mr. Sanjeev Bhalla, Academic Incharge, all faculty members and students from the Commerce Department were present. Dr. Suvit Das moderated the event successfully.
