*Extension lecture on 'Challenges of Punjab Economy' at Hindu Kanya College*

The Department of Economics organized an extension lecture on 'Challenges of Punjab Economy' on 25th October 2024. Prof. Pooja Kansra, Professor, Mittal School of Business, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara chaired the session as the Resource Person. Dr. Anupam Sabharwal, Head of the organizing department welcomed the speaker. Dr. Pooja enlightened the students with the pertinent challenges related to agriculture, service sectors, unemployment, drug crisis, skill gap and immigration etc. College Principal Dr. Archna Garg applauded the departmental initiative to enlighten students with the useful information relevant with the present scenario. 70 students from the department attended this knowledgeable session. Ms. Muskan Takiar hosted the session effectively.
