An Extension Lecture on 'Role of Political & Permanent Executives' was organized by the Department of Social Sciences. Prof. Inderjeet Singh Sodhi, Head, Department of Public Administration from Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Regional Centre, Chandigarh chaired the session as the Resource Person who enlightened the students about the different types, role and coordination of political and permanent executives.

Outcome: Students' knowledge base was increased by the latest information provided by the Resource Person. They came to know about the role and coordination maintained by the different types of political and permanent executives. They were also made aware about the contemporary challenges faced by the Indian administration.
