The Internal Quality Assurance Cell conducted an extension lecture on "How to Publish with Quality Journals " to enlighten the faculty about the creative process and parameters of writing quality research papers. Dr. Rubal Kanojia, Assistant Professor, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Central University of Punjab, Bathinda was the Resource Person. He elaborated on how to construct an appropriate title, effective abstract, well-explored introduction and sound conclusion of a Research paper through systemized literature review and by utilizing suitable methodology. He also focused on how to find the best journal for research publication with a high-impact scholarly journal like Scopus-indexed journals, Web of Science, UGC, Google Scholar-indexed journals, etc.

Motive: To advocate the research aptitude and progressive insight among the freshly appointed faculty about the parameters of writing quality research papers.

Outcome: The faculty was apprised of how to choose a research journal with a high impact factor for publication and the parameters of a quality research paper i.e. title of the paper, effective abstract, keywords and findings of a paper through systemized literature review and statistical methodology.
