Legal Literacy Cell of the college in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority, Kapurthala organized an Extension Lecture wherein, the Resource Persons, Ms Lakshmi, a Para-Legal Volunteer and Advocate Vibhuti Sharma, an Assistant Legal Aid Defense Council, provided detailed information on free legal aid services available to all sections of society, especially weaker, backward classes and women. Sardar Karanbir Batra and Ms. Prabhjot Kaur, Civil Judge (Junior Division, CUM JMJC) were also present during this session.

Motive : To spread awareness about legal rights and free legal aid services among students, focusing on marginalized communities and women.

Outcome: The extension lecture enabled students to understand the significance of legal aid services and their role in promoting social justice, particularly for marginalized communities. As a result of this activity, students acquired awareness about legal rights and services, enhancing their ability to make informed decisions and access support when needed.
