NSS Units of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala organized an Extension Lecture on Union Budget 2024-25 . The Resource Person, Ms. Richa Arora, Chartered Accountant, Richa Arora and Company apprised the students about the highlights of the Budget 2024- 25 such as tax slabs, Kissan credit scheme and schemes for youth development. She said that the current Union Budget presented by the Finance Minister of India chalks out the blue print to support Indian economy and promote social welfare. She encouraged students to get acquainted with all proposals presented in the Union Budget. Dr. Amanjyoti, Programme Officer of NSS Unit presented her gratitude to the Resource Person for her enlightening session. College Principal Dr. Archna Garg appreciated the effort of the NSS Units to sensitize students about the parameters of the budget. On this occasion, Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur, Mrs. Hardeep Kaur, NSS Programme Officers were present along with the student volunteers. NSS Programme Officer, Mrs. Suvit Das coordinated the event.
