As per the directions issued by Punjab State Legal Services Authority, Mohali and District Legal Services Authority, Kapurthala, Students Legal Literacy Cell organised an Extension lecture on 'Women Rights'. Advocate Deepti Marwaha from District Legal Services Authority, Kapurthala was present as the Resource person who highlighted the legal provisions and women rights supporting the status of women in society.

Outcome : Students received the knowledge regarding important Indian laws and provisions protecting women rights. They were also given the women safety helpline numbers and were encouraged to stay vigilant about their legal rights. Students' vistas of knowledge got widened through this awareness lecture.
