Fit India Movement

During the Covid period, through online activity, Madam Shivani Pubby informed the importance of Yoga to NSS Volunteers. She aware to them that the COVID epidemic can be cured with regular yoga exercises. After getting this knowledge our 7 NSS volunteers further aware their nearby houses about different types of Yoga and told that by daily cycling and yoga we can keep our body healthy. Through this, our NSS Volunteers fulfil their social responsibility. One of our NSS volunteer Priya Kashyap regularly took one week classes to teach yoga to her neighbours. NSS Volunteers take initiative to perform various activities(yoga, exercises, cycling, Rope Skipping, Aerobic Dance, Running) in their home with the gathering of ladies and kids.

Motive-The main objective of this activity was to be aware NSS Volunteers aware about the ways to protect themselves during COVID-19 and also tell them that they can keep themselves fit by doing different types of exercises at home.

Outcome: Through this online activity, the NSS Volunteers made the people aware how they can protect themselves from epidemic.
