On August 9th, 2021, Hindu Kanya College was awarded the District Greens Champion Award by the Central Government's Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Education Department for its excellent performance in the field of cleanliness.
The award was received by NSS teachers Mrs. Ramandeep Kaur and Mrs. Hardeep Kaur from Deputy Commissioner Deepti Uppal.

A parameter was set for this award by the Government of India, according to which the college was given different parameters related to cleanliness, in which the college clear all parameters. DC Deepti Uppal also investigated the work being done by the college in different areas of College and assured all cooperation from the administration.
