HKCian- The Alumnae Association of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala organised a Guest Lecture on 'Empower Your Mind and Navigate Your Life With Purpose'.Ms. Ruby Walia, a proud alumna of the college, an eminent Beauty Expert, Cosmetologist, Certified Yoga and Life Skills Trainer from U.S.A. chaired the session as the Guest Speaker. Ms. Ruby in her talk, emphasized the importance of the positive thinking, self discipline and role of Yoga and meditation to lead a stress-free and successful life.

Outcome: Students received inspiration to follow the example of the Guest Alumna and to work hard despite all odds, They were enthused to have a definite purpose in life and self discipline. They were suggested to leave procrastination and minimise the excessive dependence on mobiles and social media and prioritise real life over reel life. Ms. Ruby also gave useful tips for the bridal makeup to the students of Cosmetology.
