The festival of Makar Sankranti was celebrated in the college by solemnizing an auspicious Havan. Mr. Ayush Gupta and his wife, Mrs. Muskan Gupta were the Yajmans of the havan. From the College Management Committee, President Shri Tilak Raj Aggarwal and Manager Shri Ashwini Aggarwal graced the occasion with their presence. The teaching and non-teaching staff along with the students, participated in this sacred ritual. The college also celebrated Lohri, a traditional North Indian festival, with great enthusiasm. Students and staff gathered around the sacred fire, offering peanuts, sesame seeds, jaggery and other traditional items, praying for the growth and prosperity of the college.

Motive : To seek blessings of the Almighty for the bright future of students and prosperity of the college and to enthuse students realise the significance of celebrating Indian festivals.

Outcome : Students and staff welcomed the new semester by invoking the blessings of Almighty and prayed for the bright future of the students and the growth of the college. Students and staff celebrated the festivals of Makar Sakranti and Lohri together and realised the value of celebrating Indian festivals, which symbolize indian ethos and vibrance.
