Brief Description of the Event : An auspicious Havan ceremony was solemnized to get the blessings of the Almighty to inaugurate the new academic session at Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala on 2nd August 2024. Dr. Anuj Rattan and his wife Dr. Meghna Rattan, the eminent doctors from Kapurthala graced the occasion as yazmans of this pious ceremony. Shri Tilak Raj Aggarwal, President, Shri Ashwani Aggarwal, Manager, Mrs. Adarsh Parti, Joint Secretary of the College Managing Committee were present to offer their obeisance. The college alumnae also participated in this inaugural Havan ceremony enthusiastically.

Motive: To seek blessings from the Almighty before starting the New Session of the college and to apprise students about the rich Indian culture and its pious ritual to start any new venture by invoking the blessings of the God.

Outcome: The whole college ambience was filled with the serene echoes and chants of the holy mantras, Hanuman Chalisa and Aarti presented by the students of the Music Department. Principal Dr. Archna Garg wished students a successful and prosperous academic year.
