An industrial visit to Mrs. Bector's Food Specialities Limited in Phillaur was arranged for the students. During the visit, students witnessed various stages of biscuit production, including the selection of raw materials, manufacturing and packaging. Officials Mrs. Shivakshi from the HR Department and Mrs. Deeksha from the Quality Assurance Cell explained each step in detail, highlighting the importance of quality control, hygiene standards, and automation. Students of the departments of Commerce and Home Science received valuable knowledge during this visit which allowed them to relate academic knowledge with the real industrial practices. Dr. Neetu Bhargava, Head and Mrs. Suvit Das, Assistant Professor from the P.G. Department of Commerce and Management and Ms. Ravina, Assistant Professor from Department of Home Science accompanied the students.

Motive : To provide practical exposure to students about the industrial processes and operations.

Outcome : This visit played a crucial role in enhancing students' practical understanding and broadening their horizons beyond classroom learning. Students gained practical insights into industry operations during the visit. They understood real-world applications of theoretical concepts they had learned.
