Report: Industrial Visit to rail Coach Factory by the Hindu Kanya College
In pursuit of fostering experiential learning, the P.G. Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala embarked an industrial visit to the Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala on 28th February 2025. Led by Er. Neha Chopra, Assistant Professor, and Ms. Deepika Dhiman, Assitant Professsor, students from the department participated in this enriching experience. Mr. Pawan Kumar Dhiman, Demonstrator, explained the software applications and Automated Embedded Systems (Numerical Control) employed at RCF to the students. The visit provided hands-on knowledge of cutting-edge technologies to the students. Principal Dr.Archna Garg lauded the department's initiative, emphasizing the significance of such industrial visits in imparting practical knowledge and bridging the gap between academia and industry.

Objective : To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical applications.

Outcome : Students gained practical knowledge of cutting-edge technologies. Inspired to pursue innovative projects and research. Enhanced understanding of industry-academia collaboration.
