*Industrial Visit to Verka Milk Plant by Hindu Kanya College*

The Department of Economics of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala organized an Industrial Visit to Verka Milk Plant, Jalandhar on 18th February 2025.The visit aimed to provide experiential learning among students. Under this outdoor learning experience, 18 students from the Department, led by Dr. Anupam Sabharwal, Head, Department of Economics participated in the visit and gained hands-on knowledge about the milk plant's operations. They learned about milk production, manufacturing of various milk products, processing and packaging. College Principal Dr. Archna Garg appreciated the effort of the Department, stating that such events serve as an excellent means of imparting practical knowledge to students.
