The Social Science Association of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala organized Inter- School Patriotic Competitions on 13th August 2025 dedicated to 79th Independence Day. College Principal Dr. Archna Garg was the Chief Guest of the event. Mrs. Seema Thakur, Convener of the Social Science Association extended a warm welcome to all. The highlights of the competitions were Reel Making, Face Painting, Rangoli, Declamation, Character Portrayal and Patriotic Group Song. These competitions were adjudged by Dr. Ritu Gupta, Mrs. Sarika Kanda, Dr. Parmjit Kaur, Dr. Jasdeep Kaur, Er. Inderjeet Bal, Mrs. Supriya Sharma, Mr. Sanjeev Bhalla and Ms. Ravina, who gave their impartial decisions. The winners were announced as follows: in Face Painting, Guru Amardas Public School Ucha Bet secured the first position and KRJ DAV School secured the second position; in Declamation Christ King Convent School secured the first position, Sacred Heart Public School secured the second position, and Guru Amardas Public School Ucha Bet secured the third position; in Reel making, Innocent Hearts School, Lohara secured the first position; in Rangoli, Guru Amardas Public School Ucha Bet secured the first position and PM Shri KV RCF secured the second position; in Character Portrayal competition, Guru Amardas Public School Ucha Bet secured the first position; and in Patriotic Group Song, MGN Public School, Kapurthala secured the first position and Guru Amardas Public School, Ucha Bet secured the second position.
