On 31st October 2019, NSS Units of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala celebrated National Unity Day to foster and reinforce dedication to preserve unity, integrity and security of the nation. The day was celebrated to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of the Iron Man of India : Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who always believed in the strong and united India. A pledge taking ceremony was organized in the college campus in which Dr. Amanjyoti, NSS Programme Officer motivated students to materialize the philosophy laid by Sardar Patel.
Purpose: To provide a platform for the students to celebrate the life and legacy of Sardar Patel.
