Shaheed- e-Azam Bhagat Singh is the epitome of selfless love for one's nation and equally unmatched is the sacrifice rendered by Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Shaheed Sukhdev and Shaheed Rajguru for laying down their precious lives to protect their beloved Mother India. The Department of Social Sciences of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala paid it's heartfelt homage to these three great revolutionaries by organizing a variety of activities on the Martyrdom Day of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh on 23rd March 2024. Mrs. Seema Rani, Head, Department of Social Sciences delivered a talk highlighting the importance of the day and relevance of Shaheed Bhagat Singh' s vision for the present youth till date. Students also presented their perspective through declamation elaborating Bhagat Singh's ideology and saluted his unmatched patriotic zeal. A documentary of Prasar Bharati was also shown to the students for inspiring them from the life episodes of the great revolutionary.
