On 27th May,2021, under the chairmanship of College Principal Dr. Archna Garg ji , different types of masks were prepared by NSS Volunteers of the NSS Department of Hindu Kanya College. NSS volunteers distributed around 100 masks to the needy people living in the slums. They taught the women and children living in the slums about the precautions during Covid-19 such as wearing face masks, washing hands frequently with soap, aware about getting vaccination, healthy eating and drinking, following social distance with each other and keeping the surroundings clean.

Motive: The purpose of conducting this activity was to make NSS volunteers aware of their responsibility towards the society.

Outcome: Through this activity, women and children living in slums were made aware that how they can avoid this disease by taking certain precautions during COVID-19, such as wearing a face mask and washing hands with soap frequently.
