NSS Unit of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala celebrated National Nutrition Day under the campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Village Rajapur under the able guidance of Madam principal Dr. Archana Garg. Mrs. Sarika Kanda Head, Home Science Department participated as the keynote speaker. She informed the villagers about the nutrition campaign run by the government. She told that the purpose of celebrating Poshan Abhiyan is to reduce the number of children suffering from malnutrition and it is very important to give them a balanced diet.
Purpose: To educate the villagers about the government's initiatives to address malnutrition, including the Poshan Abhiyaan, a multi-sectoral nutrition program.
Outcome: Encouraged the participants to take a proactive role in promoting good nutrition, including advocating for policies and programs to address malnutrition
