Open Text Book Assessment or OTBA competition was organized by the English Literary Society of the Department of English to test students' reading ability and analytical skills in comprehending the passages in English.

Motive : To enhance reading, writing and analytical skills of the students and to prepare them for the future competitive exams in which the aspirants are assessed through the passages for comprehension.

Outcome: Participants got a golden opportunity to showcase their reading competence, mental agility, time management skills and writing flair. This event also prepared them to face and attempt passages for comprehension which are regular features of almost all competitive exams.
