PG Department of Computer Science and IT of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala organised a seminar on *Cyber Jagrukta Diwas* on November 9, 2022. Er. Inderjit Bal from Department of CS & IT, informed the students about cyber laws and cyber crimes related to frauds in online shopping, increase in social network users which sometimes result in online job fraud. Further she advised students to format their devices, reset password more often and lodge a complaint when any suspicious activity is found. She also suggested ways to protect information access from unauthorized people like setting of strong password, one step authentication, two step authentication, mobile security application etc. cautious. Principal, Dr. Archna Garg applauded the content of seminar. She advised students to safeguard from cyber frauds and taught students & their family members to be alert and cautious.
