As per the directions issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Kapurthala, ADC and SDM, the Electoral Literacy Club of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala organized 'SVEEP' activities to promote voters' awareness regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections - 2024 on 22nd March 2024. These activities included Signature Campaign, Selfie Point and Rangoli Competition which aimed at raising awareness among students about fair voting. The students of the college participated enthusiastically in these competitions. On this occasion, Mr. Parmjeet Singh, the District Nodal Officer, 'SVEEP' motivated the students to cast their votes impartially without any pressure. Mr. Parmjeet Singh, along with Mrs. Sunita Singh, 'SVEEP' Block Nodal Officer, and Mr. Davinder Walia, District Coordinator presented the impartial judgment of the Rangoli competition. Team of Jyoti from B.Com-4th Semester and Kannan from B.A. -2nd Semester secured the first position, whereas the team of Jaspreet Kaur from B.Com.- 2nd Semester and Seema got the 2nd position. Team of Gurleen Kaur and Navdeep Kaur, both from B.Com.- 4th Semester secured the third position.
