A subject enrichment competition 'Read Aloud, Feel Proud', aiming at improving reading skills of the students, was conducted by the English Literary Society of the Department of English. Students from all streams participated and competed enthusiastically in the preliminary and main rounds of this competition and exhibited their verbal flair in reading the given text in English.

Motive : To provide a platform for the young readers to hone their vocabulary comprehension, public speaking and presentation skills

Outcome : The competition encouraged the readers to enhance their vocabulary comprehension, overall presentation and communication skills in English. Participants realised the vital significance of improving reading skills to develop self confidence and to improve their oral presentation in the English language.
