Seminar on Cybercrime

"To know about cyber laws. Students are becoming more and more dependent on the Internet which means that criminal activities will also keep on increasing. The laws making bodies of the nation should always keep in mind the rate to development of the cybercrimes and the laws should be able to minimize them to best possible extent"

A seminar on 'Cybercrime' was organized by the Extension Activities Committee of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala. Inspector Amandeep Kaur (Incharge Cyber Cell Kapurthala) and Inspector Gurbachan Singh (Incharge Traffic Education Kapurthala) specially addressed and informed the students about the Cyber laws that help to prevent people from cybercriminal activities and ways to protect information access from unauthorised people. Inspector Amandeep Kaur advised students to safeguard from cyber frauds and taught them to be alert and cautious. SI Yudhveer Singh, ASI Bagga Singh, ASI Harjinder Singh, L/HC Jatinder Kaur, HC Amanjot Kaur, HC Komalpreet Kaur were the other prominent dignitaries present on this occasions
