Motive- To guide the students about the employment possibilities in the subject of History.
Report-A guest lecture was organized on behalf of the History Department of Hindu Kanya College on the topic “Scope and Nature of history”. Dr. Anju Suri, Chairperson, History department, Punjab University was the keynote speaker. She said that employment opportunities are available for history students. This subject is the main subject of the Civil Services Examination. Students of this subject have more benefits than others. Students of history can also get employment in the Archeology Department. Dr. Suri answered the questions of the students.
Outcome -From this lecture, the students came to know the scope in history.
