Plethora of Activities were organized to observe the 'Swachta Hi Sewa' campaign, following the directions issued by Office of Director, Higher Education Department, Government of Punjab and to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Mahatama Gandhi. These activities were organized with an aim to promote cleanliness and tranform India into a garbage free nation.
On 20th September 2023, Mrs. Seema Rani, Convener, Nature Eco Club motivated students to discontinue the use of the single use plastic at home through her talk. On 26th September 2024, Ms. Ravina from Fashion Designing Department highlighted the importance of 'Waste Management' through her enlightening seminar. On 29th September, a declamation contest on 'Environment Protection and Cleanliness'' was arranged in which is Kannan of B.A. -3rd Semester stood first. NCC and NSS Units along with Nature Eco Club of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala observed one-day cleanliness drive under the 'Swachta Hi Sewa' campaign on 30th September 2023. 40 NCC Cadets cleaned the historical monuments of the town which included Moorish Mosque, Janjh Ghar and Shiv Mandir. 31 student volunteers from NSS Units and Nature Eco Club cleaned the roadside ramps, staircase area opposite Reliance Trends at Mall Road and Ride area of Camera Bagh, Kapurthala. On 2nd October, a debate on 'Swachta Hi Sewa', Poster Making Activity on the key theme were organised. Students also participated enthusiastically in the Cleanliness Activity of the whole college campus, Shalimar Bagh and classrooms.

Outcome: Students contributed their services to make India clean, healthy and garbage free. Through their power of voices, artistic skills and selfless social service, they tried to ignite the spark of awareness among the general public to keep their surroundings clean and hygienic.
