NSS Unit, of Hindu Kanya College organised a Seminar on Voter awareness at village Rajapur.The purpose of the seminar was to create awareness among the villagers about the importance of voting and their rights and responsibilities as voters. The resource person Ms. Varinder Head, Deptt. of Political Science told the villagers that Vote is their right and they should cast vote according to their choice. She also explained the electoral process, including the importance of voter ID, voting procedures, and the role of the Election Commission.
Outcome: The seminar served as an inspiration for many attendees to register as voters and encourage others to do the same. The initiative contributes to the strengthening of the democratic process and creates a sense of civic responsibility among the villagers.
