On 02/12/2021, NSS Department of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala conducted a vote awareness campaign in village Rupnagar and Vijola under the patronage of Principal Dr. Archna Garg. The VVPAT machine was moved out in village Ruppanpur and village Vijola and every person from 18 years of age to the elderly was informed to vote in a practical manner. They also explained how the slip will be released from the VVPAT machine by pressing the button of the EVM machine.

Motive: The main purpose of conducting this activity was to inform the villagers about voting through EVM and VVPAT machines.

Outcome: As a result of conducting this activity, the villagers got very accurate information about how they have to use the machine to cast their vote.
