An Inter-College Competition, 'Wordsmiths' Arena' was organized by The English Literary Society of Department of English of the college . Students from 19 colleges participated in this competition with great enthusiasm. The competitions included Quiz Whiz, PPT on Literary Legends Writing in English, Cultural Confluence - Fusion Dance on English Songs, Poetic Punch, Spell Bee and Role Play. Prof. Sharad Manocha, Associate Professor from the Department of English, DAV College, Jalandhar, was the Keynote Speaker. Shri Tilak Raj Aggarwal, President, College Management Committee presided over the function. Prof. Vimal Sethi, Dr. Shifali Rachna Puri and Mrs. Amandeep Kaur ajudged the various competitions. The winners of the various competitions were felicitated with trophies and certificates.

Motive : To provide students an exposure to enhance their knowledge of English language and literature and to encourage a healthy competitive spirit among them.

Outcome : This platform provided ample opportunities to the students from different colleges to compete with each other so as to express their linguistic flair, lexical talents and enhance their domains of learning and creativity.
