*Workshop on 'Aahaar Kranti' at Hindu Kanya College*

The Department of Home Science and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala organised a Workshop on 'Aahaar Kranti: Uttam Aahaar Uttam Vichaar' on 16th April 2024 in the college campus. The Resource person, Dietician Mrs. Shagun Garg encouraged students to adopt healthy lifestyle and eat nutrition rich food. She gave the demonstration of different recipes like makhana phirni, chocolate baked oats, mango salad, zucchini and beetroot cheela. Students of Home Science , Diploma in Nanny Care and Nutrition and the volunteers of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell attended the workshop. Mrs. Sarika Kanda, Head of the Home Science Department thanked the Resource person for making students learn the nutritious delicacies without compromising taste and budget. Dr. Anupam Sabharwal, Convener, Mrs. Varinder Kaur, Member of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell, Ms. Ravina, from Home Science Department were present to organize the Workshop. College Principal Dr. Archna Garg appreciated the organizers for providing nutritional information to the students and honing their practical skills. She motivated the students to take optimum advantages of the opportunities and exposure provided by the college from time to time.
