The Department of Political Science, Hindu Kanya College Kapurthala, organized a Youth Parliament Program on 20th February 2025. The aim of this program was to acquaint students with the role of Parliament in Indian Politics and to raise awareness about the pressing issues of the present time. The topic of the debate was, "Will One Nation One Election lead to better representation and accountability?" The event brought young minds together for democratic discussions, with participants presenting their arguments in favour and against of the above given topic.

Motive- to educate and empower students with knowledge of parliamentary procedures, democratic values, and effective communication skills.
Outcome- It enables students to develop critical thinking, public speaking, leadership, and teamwork skills, while fostering a deeper understanding of democratic processes and civic responsibility.
