Report: On the 2nd Day of Faculty Development Programme Er.Sunali Sharma, Mrs. Davinder Kaur, P.G. Department of Commerce & Management gave talk on her topic “Salaried persons , their tax Liabilities and different types of rebates they can avail while calculating the tax”. She explained about salaried persons and their tax liabilities. She also explained about Form 16 -A and how to file ITR. Ms. Sakshi Gupta, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics presented her report about the previous day's presentation and Ms. Simran, Lecturer in Chemistry, shared five new and unusual facts before the faculty to make the session more interactive and interesting.

Ms. Ashu from Economics Department read her report about the previous day's presentation. Topic:  Digital Transactions: Future of India and how to protect yourself from cybercrime

Resource Person: Er. Inderjit Kaur Bal , P.G. Department of CS & IT

Report: On the 7th day of the 7-day Inter-Disciplinary FDP organized by Staff Academy of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala, Er. Inderjit Kaur Bal , P.G. Department of CS & IT, gave her presentation on "Digital Transactions: Future of India and how to protect yourself from cybercrime". She informed the faculty members about cyber laws and reasons for crime in India such as trend of online shopping, increase in social network users which sometimes result in online job fraud. Further she advised all to lodge a complaint or format your devices and reset password more often as soon as possible when any suspicious activity is done .She also suggested ways to protect information access from unauthorized people like setting of strong password, one step authentication, two step authentication, mobile security application etc.
