ਸਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸਿਲੇਬਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਨ। ਲੈਕਚਰ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਕਾਲੀ ਸੰਦਰਭ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦੀ ਸਾਰਥਕਤਾ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ।
