Red Cross Unit of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala arranged an Extension- cum - Awareness Talk on 'Orodental Care and Hazards of Tobacco' on 12th October 2023 in collaboration with the Civil Hospital, Kapurthala. Dr.Kapil Dogra, Deputy Director, Dental- cum- DDHO, Kapurthala made students aware about E- Dant Sewa App and the feasible ways of tooth care and oral hygiene. He elaborated the proper way of cleaning the teeth and gums, flossing steps and enthused students to consume a healthy diet for safeguarding teeth as well as the entire body. Dr. Gurdev Singh Bhatti, Dental Medical Officer from Civil Hospital, Kapurthala enlightened students about how to save oneself from the severe tooth related diseases and also resolved the myths related to scaling, root planning, RCT, teeth whitening, dentures and tooth implants.
