*Workshop on HD Bridal Makeup *

On *10th September 2022,* Cosmetology Department of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala organised a workshop on " HD Bridal Makeup" to spread awareness and scope of the subject. In this workshop, makeup expert Ms. Pooja Chauhan from New Images International Beauty Institute, Jalandhar, informed students about the theory of makeup by providing live demonstrations. She suggested students to use only makeup of good and authentic brands as it causes no harm to skin and retains for a longer period. Apart from this, hair expert, Ms. Jyoti also explained in detail about hairstyles and presented live demos. She answered many queries of students in a very satisfactory manner. Students from Cosmetology Department participated enthusiastically in this workshop and certificates were also given to the participants.

Motive:
To spread awareness and scope of the subject.
To make the students aware about the new technique of makeup that is High Definition makeup

Outcomes:
Students got opportunity to learn the profession directly from a professional working in the field
They also learnt that, As a Cosmetologist, it is very important to remember and guide your clients about the importance of skin care, not only for a more beautiful appearance, but also for the health of the skin.
Because since as a professional you will attend to several types of skin.
