Dr. Sanjeev Dawar, resource person of the seminar, while delivering his talk, enlightened the students about the importance of reciting mool mantra or prayer before starting any task. He emphasized on speaking truth and enlightened students about the importance of opening the nine gates alongwith one secret gate to lead a purposeful life.

As per the directions issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Kapurthala, ADC and SDM, the Electoral Literacy Club of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala organized 'SVEEP' activities to promote voters' awareness regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections - 2024 on 22nd March 2024. These activities included Signature Campaign, Selfie Point and Rangoli Competition which aimed at raising awareness among students about fair voting. The students of the college participated enthusiastically in these competitions. On this occasion, Mr. Parmjeet Singh, the District Nodal Officer, 'SVEEP' motivated the students to cast their votes impartially without any pressure. Mr. Parmjeet Singh, along with Mrs. Sunita Singh, 'SVEEP' Block Nodal Officer, and Mr. Davinder Walia, District Coordinator presented the impartial judgment of the Rangoli competition. Team of Jyoti from B.Com-4th Semester and Kannan from B.A. -2nd Semester secured the first position, whereas the team of Jaspreet Kaur from B.Com.- 2nd Semester and Seema got the 2nd position. Mrs. Rachna, Makeup Expert, Kapurthala gave detailed information to the students about the new makeup products and the right way to enhance their impact on the face. While addressing the queries of the students, she told that it is very important to prepare the skin before applying make-up that helps in clearing the pores of the skin, and thereby, the final result of make-up also comes out satisfactorily. She also gave a live demo of 'Glam Look Makeup' in which she created a glossy makeup look. The students from the Cosmetology Department participated in this workshop with full zeal.

NCC unit of Hindu Kanya College Kapurthala observed one- day cleanliness drive under the 'Swachhata Hi Sewa' campaign on 30th September, 2023 MCC cadets cleaned the historical monuments of the town which included Moorish Mosque, Janjh Ghar and Shiv Mandir. This cleanliness drive was conducted under the supervision of NCC ANO Dr. Rajwinder Kaur. Principal Dr. Archana Garg appreciated the efforts taken by the unit. The motive of this activity was to create awareness among NCC cadets to keep their surroundings neat and clean. The outcome of this activity was sensitized the cadets and general public about the importance of historical monuments and to keep their surroundings clean and hygienic. Excursion Trip to Mini Goa and Mukteshwar Dham at Pathankot

An Excursion Trip was organized for the students to Mini Goa and Mukteshwar Dham at Pathankot by the P.G.Department of Commerce and Management. Students visited the Mukteshwar Mahadev Temple, which is one of the most sacred places around Pathankot. They also visited the caves which date to the time of the Mahabharata. Students also enjoyed the scenic beauty and pleasant weather of Mini Goa situated near a lake which is formed by the water of Maharaja Ranjit Sagar Dam. Dr.Neetu Bhargava, Head and teachers of the Commerce Department, Mrs. Suvit Das and Mrs.Davinder Kaur accompanied the students to this trip. Outcome : This trip proved out to be a recreational trip for the students and provided an exposure as well as entertainment to them. He conducted a live demonstration of nude glittery eye makeup to accentuate the eyes. Extension Talk was arranged by Nature Eco Club on 'Water and Kitchen Therapies. Mr. Sanjeev Mehra, Social Worker and Representative from Fortunatar Marketing Pvt. Ltd., Amritsar made students aware about how to take care of their health through proper water intake after testing its PH- Level and by avoiding white flour, salt, sugar, cold drink and junk food. He also conducted the PH- Level testing of different drinks like mineral water, cold drinks etc. with the help of his Assistant, Mr. Pardeep Singh. Outcome : Students were made aware about the harm caused to their bodies by drinking cold drinks and eating junk and unhealthy food. Students' Fest was organized in which students and visitors enjoyed the splendid fiesta with great enthusiasm. Shri Tarsem Behal along with his wife presided over the function as the Chief Guest. Special Guest of the day was Shri Krishan Sethi who was present with his wife. From the College Managing Committee, President, Shri Tilak Raj Aggarwal, Joint Secretary Mrs. Adarsh Parti, and Member Shri Shayam Sunder Aggarwal were present to grace the function. The key attractions of the day were Designer’s Exhibition, Exhibition on Punjabi Culture, Stalls of DJ, delicious eatables and enticing games. HKCian Day was also celebrated a day before the Fest in which students participated and won prizes. in many competitions like Salad Making, Snack Making, Sweet Dish Making, Gift Wrapping, Ludo, Hair Style, Mahendi, Nail Art, Art and Craft etc. Star cast of the upcoming Punjabi movie, 'Khadari' captivated the audience with their promotional performance. Red Ribbon Club of the College observed World AIDS Day by organising a Declamation Competition on the topic, 'AIDS- Awareness and Precautions'. Students exhibited the oratory flair and highlighted the causes of AIDS and precautionary measures to be adopted to stop the spread of the deadly disease and also won positions. Arjuna Awardee, a legendary Basketball player, S. Sajjan Singh Cheema, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. From the College Management Committee, President Sh. Tilak Raj Aggarwal, Joint Secretary Mrs. Adarsh Parti, Member Shri O. P. Behl, Convener, Sports Sub Committee presided over the function. Sh. Satish Sharma, Deputy Director, Sports (Retd.) and Member, College Vision Committee welcomed the chief guest and encouraged students to prioritize both sports as well as studies for their physical as well as mental wellbeing. The sports events of students started with 100m Race. Students enthralled the audience by exhibiting their physical agility in races like Sack Race, 200m Race, Chatti Race and Frog Race. Mellifluous musical performances by the students of Music Department mesmerized the audience. Students displayed their athletic talents through other events like Obstacle Race, 4*100m Relay Race, Three-Legged Race, Skipping and Marble Race. The teachers also got an opportunity to prove their physical fitness by participating in Tug of War. Chief Guest congratulated the winners and motivated students to embrace sportsmanship and discipline to achieve success in every phase of life. In the end, winners were awarded medals. Report: A Declamation contest was organized on 'Drug Abuse' on 3rd November 2023 at Government Senior Secondary School, Sidhwan Dona. Nine Students of the school expressed their grave concern regarding the drug addiction and it's catastrophic impact on the lives of young people. Students' Orientation and Investiture Ceremony were organized to introduce the newly elected Students' Council of the college and Captains and Vice Captains of four Houses of the Collegiate School. Pragna, student of B.C.A.- 5th Semester was elected as the Head Girl and Amandeep Kaur, student of B. Com. -5th Semester became the Vice Head Girl of the college. Binay from 10+2( Commerce) was declared as the Head Girl of the collegiate school. Dr. Bhupinder Kaur and Dr. Anupam Sabharwal Sharma were elected as Staff Representatives of Students' Council. An Induction Program "Know Your College" was arranged for the First Year Students of all streams to acquaint the new entrants of the college about academic and co - academic facilities and support services available in the college. On this occasion, Shri Arun Kaushik, Co-ordinator of Youth Wing, North Zone of Brahma Kumaris delivered an enlightening talk to the students to remain free from mental stress. Smt. Shaminder Kaur, Counselor, Drug Treatment Center, Kapurthala discussed the ill effects of drugs while making the students aware about the serious problem of drug addiction. Teachers from all departments, clubs and units gave new students a brief overview of courses, support services and their future avenues. Saplings were distributed to the students by Nature Eco Club to make them aware regarding the importance of planting trees to preserve and protect the environment. Outcome: New students received information about the scope and avenues of different academic, skill based and value added courses available in the college. Report:-Plethora of knowledge enriching activities buzzed the National Library Week commemorated by Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala. College Library and Readers’ Club of Hindu Kanya College. Kapurthala celebrated National Library Week with great enthusiasm from 14th to 19th November 2022. These celebrations were organized to follow a practice initiated by Shri I.V.Ramayya, recognized as the "Architect of Public Library Movement in India" and as per the guidelines of ILA (Indian Library Association)to observe 14th to 20th November as National Library week all over India since 1968. The main aim has been to let the public know about the libraries and to develop reading, writing and analytical faculties among young learners.The whole week remained buzzing with plethora of knowledge enhancing activities. 14th November 2022 was dedicated to Children's Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Books based on Honourable Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru and children were displayed to elucidate his contribution towards India's freedom. Madam Principal Dr. Archna Garg inaugurated the event. On 15th November 2022, Book Review Competition was organized. 54 students of the college participated in book review competition. Kannan of B. A. 1st year, Harpreet Kaur of M. A 3rd semester and Manpreet Kaur of B. Com 3rd semester were selected as the best reviewers in Hindi, Punjabi and English language respectively. On 16th November 2022, “Design a Book-Mark Competition was conducted in which 22 students from college and Collegiate school participated enthusiastically and crafted beautiful Bookmarks to flaunt their artistic imagination and innovative ideas. Vidhi Sharma of B.Com 1st Semester, Arshdeep of B.C.A.- 5th Semester and Megna of 10+1 (Arts) stood first, second and third respectively in this competition. Thereafter, a Debate Competition was staged on 17th November 2022 on the topic “Stubble Burning” which was worth-enjoying and informative session for the audience. The highlight of the event was the question answer round as a volley of questions was answered confidently by the speakers of both sides. The session was a kaleidoscope of opinions and perspectives backed effectively by the supporting facts that definitely enhanced the knowledge and understanding of the topic among students. Total 12 students participated in this interactive session. Sukhmanjot Kaur of B.A. -5th Semester stood 1st, Diksha of B.Com.-3rd Semester got the second position, Kashish of B.Com.- 1st Semester and Manjot of B.A.-1st Semester got third position in this competition. On 18th November , an Essay Writing Competition was organized on the topic, " A Library is the Heart of an Institution" on a quote given by Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, 2nd President of India. 42 students from College and Collegiate school participated in this competition to display their imaginative and creative faculties and presented their views on how Library plays a vital role as an indispensable tool of learning process; starting from the toddler-school life to the higher education- till the research and even beyond. Gurleen Kaur of B.Com-1st Semester got first position, Jaismeen Kaur of B.C.A. -1st Semester got the second position and Jyoti Kumari of U.G. Diploma in Stitching and Tailoring was declared third in this competition. On the last day of National Library week, A Poem Recitation Competition was organized for the young poets to discover their poetical talent. Young poets rhymed on the "Importance of Books" and expressed their thoughts with confidence. Pragna of BCA 3rd Sem & Kashish of B. Com 1st stood first and Sania & Sukhrajdeep Kaur of 10+2 got appreciation award in Poetical Recitation. Dr. Archna Garg, Principal of the college appreciated the special endeavors put in by the Readers’ Club, Library Staff and encouraged young readers to participate in such knowledge enriching and confidence boosting activities for their holistic development. A Medical Camp was organized in the Village Mushkved by Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell for the villagers. Their flair of handwriting was adjudged by the judges, winners were appreciated by awarding the certificates for their ingenuity. Outcome: Bhasha Manch provided a golden opportunity to the students for exhibiting their proficiency and artistry in the Punjabi handwriting by using traditional reed pen and Inkpot. हिंदू कन्या कॉलेज, कपूरथला के स्नातकोत्तर हिंदी विभाग की ओर आयोजित 'हिंदी भाषा प्रोत्साहन सप्ताह' के अंतर्गत 'चित्र देखकर मौलिक रचना लेखन' प्रतियोगिता करवाई गई जिसमें विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया । दिए गए दो चित्रों में से किसी एक चित्र पर मौलिक रचना (कविता, कहानी, निबंध इत्यादि) लेखन करवाया गया । विद्यार्थियों ने इसमें उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लेते हुए उड़ान, ज़िन्दगी की सफलता, सपनों की उड़ान, बेपरवाह लड़का, जीवन का लक्ष्य, एक उम्मीद आदि विषयों पर मौलिक रचनाएं लिख कर अपनी प्रतिभा का परिचय दिया । कॉलेज के प्राध्यापकों के लिए भी इस प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया जो काफी आकर्षक, मनोरंजक व सर्जनात्मक रहा । यह प्रतियोगिताएं विद्यार्थियों और प्राध्यापकों के लिए बेहद रुचिपूर्ण, जिज्ञासापूर्ण और उत्साहवर्धक रही । Purpose - विद्यार्थियों में सृजनात्मकता का विकास करना एवं मौलिक रचना लेखन के लिए प्रेरित करना । Outcome - विद्यार्थी मौलिक रचना क्षमता का विकास कर पाएगा । Venue - स्मार्ट रूम Beneficiaries - 112 11111111111111111111111111111111

Report :- To tell the historical importance of April 13, the department of History today arranged a special session to show a documentary, prepared by BBC, on Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. Earlier, Dr. Aman Jyoti, Department of History, put the light on this disastrous incident. Thereafter, Mrs. Seema Rani, Head, Department of History explained relevance of the day with respect to the Sikh History. She told that on this day, in 1699, the tenth Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji established Khalsa Panth. The Jallianwala Bagh massacre, also known as the Amritsar massacre, took place on 13 April 1919. A large, peaceful crowd had gathered at the Jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar, Punjab, British India, to protest the Rowlatt Act and arrest of pro-independence activists Saifuddin Kitchlew and Satyapal. Outcome:- Students got to know about the Jallianwala Bagh massacre is rightly regarded as a watershed moment in Indian history. Celebration of World Heritage Day

On the occasion of World Heritage Day, a group of 25 National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers along with two program officers Mrs Amanjyoti and Mrs Suvit Das visited a heritage place in Kapurthala district, Punjab. Motive: The purpose of the visit was to create awareness about the importance of preserving our cultural heritage and to educate the youth about the rich history of our country. Place Visited: The NSS volunteers visited one heritage place in Kapurthala district, namely Moorish Mosque. This place hold a significant historical and architectural importance. Moorish Mosque: The Moorish Mosque, also known as the Kapurthala Mosque, is a stunning piece of Islamic architecture that was built in 1930 by the last ruler of Kapurthala, Maharaja Jagatjit Singh. The mosque was inspired by the Grand Mosque of Marrakesh, and its unique design and exquisite craftsmanship have made it one of the most popular tourist attractions in Kapurthala. The program officers provided information on the history and significance of this heritage place. The volunteers were also given the opportunity to explore the site on their own and take photographs. Outcome: The visit had a significant impact on the NSS volunteers. They gained a better understanding of the historical and cultural significance of the site and the importance of preserving them for future generations. Report-Department of Social Sciences, Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala organised an educational trip to Partition Museum and Jalianwala Bagh at Amritsar on 12th March 2023. Students visited different galleries of the museum depicting partition scenarios, pictures of political leaders participated in freedom struggle, newspaper headlines of partition time and collection of goods donated by refugees. Students also saw videos of uprooted families and their experiences and slide shows about Jalianwala Bagh incident. The exhibits were insightful and explained a detailed summary of the incidents of freedom struggle and partition. Outcome-Going to important historical museums gives students the opportunity to visualise, experience and discuss the topics they study in order to gain greater understanding. Report-On 24th February 2023, Nature Eco Club of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala organised an Extension Lecture on the topic *Say No to Plastic* to make the students aware of hazardous effects of using plastic. Puneet Puri, Dean Academics and Head of Zoology Department, DAV College, Jalandhar was the keynote speaker. Addressing the students, he informed them about the harmful effects of the plastic on health as well as on the environment. He explained that plastic is injurious to health as it causes many diseases including cancer and breathing related severe issues and also harm the wildlife. He advised to use the metal utensils instead of the plastic ones. He elaborated the topic through case studies and Power Point Presentation. It was a ten-day tour which covered some famous spots of Odisha including Bhuvneshwar, Puri and Konark . Students spent their first two days at KIIT, University, Bhuvneshwar and next two days at Gurudwara Sahib Shri Aarta Sahib, Puri. The tour began by visiting KIIS, a tribal school where more than 3 lakh students from tribal community take education as well as get the training under the programme "Earn While You Learn". Organisations like UNESCO support their idea of making young individuals the great citizens of India. The students also visited the religious places like Lingaraj Temple and Jagannath Temple that filled the students with the divine energy. Students were overwhelmed by the hospitality of Odiya people, their rich art and diverse culture. The Swargdwar Beach has its roots related to Sikh religion, where Guru Nanak Dev Ji arrived with his disciple Mardana. Motive: To encourage the volunteers to gain knowledge about the archaeological , historic and cultural importance of Odisha Outcome: Students also came to know about the archaeological importance of Bhuvneshwar. They visited the caves which are on two hills i.e. Udaygiri and Khandagiri built during the first century BC. Moreover, the sight of Konark Sun Temple mesmerized the students with its scenic beauty and architecture. They also visited the 'Peace Pagada’ the Shanti Stupa of Dhauligiri. So that anyone who wishes to become a leader can become one. Report-On the theme of "Nothing like Voting, I vote for sure", Department of Social Sciences of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala observed 13th National Voter's Day by organizing an Essay Writing Competition in which students expressed their valuable views on the importance of vigilant voting for selecting their political representatives righteously. Taniya of 10 +1, Parminder Kaur of B.A.-2nd Semester and Riya of 10+2 were declared the best entries from Punjabi, Hindi and English mediums respectively. The conference hall echoed with the motivational song, "Mein Bharat hoon, Bharat hain mujhme" released by The Election Comission of India on the occasion. Students were also made to participate in the Voter's pledge ceremony in which all students took a pledge to cast their vote as responsible citizens. Mrs. Seema Rani, Head, Department of Social Sciences organized this event with the coordination of the faculty of her department. A webinar on the topic “Institutional Preparedness for NEP” was organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala on 20th January 2023. Er. Inderjit Bal member of IQAC started the webinar with her welcome address of the Resource Person Dr. Ajay Sharma and members of the Managing Committee, Vision Committee, Madam Principal, and all the other participants. Afterward, Dr. Anupam Sabharwal, Coordinator IQAC, welcomed and acquainted the participants with resource person Dr. Ajay Sharma, Principal of Goswami Ganesh Datta Sanatan Dharma College, Chandigarh and apprised the audience of his professional achievements and commendable academic credentials. Initially, our worthy resource person began his session with the basics of NEP premises- Details and proposals for NEP 2020. He discussed the major problems of our educational system like merit-based career management progression, lesser emphasis on research, fragmented higher education system, large affiliated universities, governors and leadership crises, limited teachers' autonomy etc. He explained that in order to develop the social, intellectual, aesthetics, emotional, and moral abilities of the students, preparations have been made to include multidisciplinary subjects according to National Education Policy. He also focused on five key changes that are required for Universities and Colleges i.e; Institutional consolidation and restructuring, Autonomy to faculty and Institutional autonomy, Restructuring of degree programs, Emphasis on research, and Governance of higher education Institutions with light but tight regulation. The primary objective of NEP 2020 is to enable the students to be employable and skillful to serve in various sectors independently so that they may not have to depend on government jobs only. Dr. Ajay also explained the steps to be taken by Higher Educational Institutions. He guided HEIs and colleges to maintain their quality standards to adopt a multidisciplinary approach to meet global demands. He also discussed all the 18 points mentioned in the report made by the DPI committee. Later on, participants raised their queries regarding the Academic Bank of Credits, National Skills Qualification Frameworks for skill development, etc., and questions were responded by the resource person convincingly. This webinar was attended by 101 participants via Zoom and Facebook platforms. Motive-To apprise the audience with details and proposals of NEP 2020. Outcomes- Participants came to know about major problems existing in our education system, acquired the knowledge of NEP 2020 and learned about the changes that are required for colleges to improve their quality and standard.

ਹਿੰਦੂ ਕੰਨਿਆ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੁਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਦੀ 75ਵੀਂ ਵਰ੍ਹੇਗੰਢ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਇੱਕ ਕੁਇਜ਼ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਤਾ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ । ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਿਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਧ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ।ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਯੋਗਿਤਾ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਸੰਗਰਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਵਿਧਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਤੱਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਅਧਾਰਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਗਏ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਖਮਨਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ (ਬੀ ਏ ਤੀਸਰਾ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ) ਅਤੇ ਕੋਮਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ (ਬੀ ਏ ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ) ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਤਰਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ (ਬੀ ਏ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ) ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ (ਬੀ ਏ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ) ਨੇ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕੁਇਜ਼ ਮਾਸਟਰ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਤੋਂ ਡਾ.ਅਮਨ ਜਯੋਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਤੋਂ ਮੈਡਮ ਵਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਨਿਭਾਈ।

A Video Making Competition was organised by Electoral Literacy Cell of Hindu Kanya College, Kapurthala highlighting the theme 'Electoral Literacy for Stronger Democracy' on the occasion of National Voters Day on 25th January 2022. The aim of this competition was to make the students informed and vigilant about their right to vote. 15 students exhibited their versatility of multimedia skills by participating enthusiastically in this innovative venture. This competition enthused the participants to invest the power of their voting rights ethically to elect the righteous government. Khushi from BCA- 1st Semester secured 1st position, Sukhmanjot Kaur from BA 3rd sem secured 2nd position and Simran Pathania from BCA 3rd sem secured 3rd position. An oath taking ceremony was also arranged on the occasion of National Voters Day in which staff members of the college participated by taking pledge to cast their valuable vote as to select their candidates to lead the nation in a better and progressive way.

हिन्दी भाषा प्रोत्साहन सप्ताह के अंतर्गत 17 सितंबर को 'हिन्दी भाषा में उपलब्ध विविध अवसर' विषय पर विस्तार व्याख्यान का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें डॉ. सुनील कुमार, प्रो. हिन्दी विभाग, गुरु नानक देव विश्वविद्यालय, अमृतसर स्रोत वक्ता के रूप में उपस्थित हुए । उन्होंने छात्राओं को संबोधित करते हुए हिन्दी-भाषी लोगों की संख्या से जुड़े तथ्यों को सांझा किया और हिन्दी में उपलब्ध रोजगार के विविध क्षेत्रों व अवसरों की जानकारी दी । 18 सितम्बर को पोस्टर मेकिंग व स्लोगन राइटिंग प्रतियोगिता कारवाई गई । 19 सितंबर को अंतर-कक्षा प्रश्नोत्तरी का आयोजन किया गया । 20 सितंबर को हस्ताक्षर अभियान करवाया गया । 21 सितंबर को हिन्दी भाषा प्रोत्साहन सप्ताह के समापन दिवस के अवसर पर मौलिक रचना लेखन प्रतियोगिता कारवाई गई । इसी दिन डॉ. तेजिंदर कौर, सहायक प्रो. हिन्दी विभाग ने हिन्दी भाषा की उपयोगिता पर अपने विचार विद्यार्थियों के साथ सांझा किए । Purpose - विद्यार्थियों को हिन्दी भाषा की जानकारी देना और हिन्दी में रोज़गार के विविध अवसरों की जानकारी देना । Outcome - विद्यार्थी हिन्दी में रोज़गार संबंधी अवसरों का लाभ उठा सकेगा । Venue - मैनेजमेंट रूम Beneficiaries - 95

Report - Bhasha Manch and Debate Club of Hindu Kanya College Kapurthala celebrated World Poetry Day on 21st March 2022. Motive : - To apprise students about value of Poetry as a spontaneous flow of human feelings, emotions and experiences and to celebrate World Poetry Day. Outcome: Students were enlightened about the importance of poetry as a creative expression of a person's imagination and verbal flair. Madam Jasdeep Kaur, Convener, Bhasha Munch and Debate Club enlightened the audience about the contemporary issues pertaining to human life and experiences . To commemorate the relevance of the day, Ms. Pragna, a student of BCA-2nd Semester recited a soul soothing poem, "Who am I?" College Principal, Dr. Archna Garg encouraged the students to expand their world view as it sparks creative thinking, improves language skills and also creates self awareness. Literature refines the students' lives; motivates them to aspire high and makes them understand and appreciate the world around them.
